Acquisition of
LinQ Strengthens Mountain West Telecom Capabilities for Business
Messaging

June 19, 2003 – Mountain West Telecom, Utah’s largest privately
held telecommunications solutions provider, has acquired the
customer base and additional assets of LinQ Communications in
Utah.

customers.”
Cary Nichols, former President of LinQ is the Division Manager for
Mountain West Telecom’s new Messaging Division, LinQ Messaging.

Already the largest privately held telecommunications solutions
provider in Utah, Mountain West Telecom continues to expand its
customer base and service offerings with recent acquisitions of
IKON Office Technologies Salt Lake City division, Teleconnex Utah
operations and now LinQ Communications.
LinQ Communications was an Avaya Business Partner since December
2001. Mountain West Telecom installs and services a range of
leading brands including Avaya, Cisco, Inter-Tel, Mitel, Qwest,
Octel, Sprint and XO. Mountain West Telecom will service LinQ’s
existing customers, including those with Avaya and Octel systems.
