Jaron S. Payzant, CEO

Jaron's the personification of hard work and dedication. He brings an unparalleled breadth of expertise to his leadership as CEO of Mountain West Telecom with more than 15 years experience from warehouse and inventory responsibilities to service and installation, customer service, and sales. He possesses numerous technical certifications for telecom products as well. Following his tenure as Vice President and the first two years of his presidency, Jaron purchased the company in 1998 and assembled one of the most experienced management teams in the industry.

While taking the company from small net losses to a profitable, debt-free company, Jaron grew gross revenue 125% in five years. Major awards include being ranked as the sixth most successful Executone sales representative in the U.S. and among the nation's top ten VARs with sales of more than a million dollars for both Executone and Inter-Tel. In 1999 and 2000, Jaron earned the Pacific Region Top Ten VAR Earning Million Dollar Plus award for his 200% growth contribution to Mitel.

Jaron's dedication and commitment doesn't end with Mountain West Telecom. As a corporate citizen, Jaron is a founding member of the Utah Young Entrepreneurs Organization; he serves as an active member of local Chambers of Commerce including participation as a Salt Shaker for the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce and - Ambassador for the Sandy Chamber. He is also a member of the Utah Taxpayers Association. Jaron has a degree in business management from Dixie College.
